Trevor Robert Nunn, CBE, born 14 January 1940 in Ipswich, Suffolk, England, was the original director of CATS and still directs several productions. He is also the man
who wrote the lyrics Memory based on T. S. Eliot's Rhapsody on a Windy Night.
Nunn was married for three times, his second wife being Sharon Lee-Hill, who played Demeter in the Original London Cast.
Trevor Nunn has won many awards, including several Tonies, Olivier and Drama Desk Awards, aswell as an Induction into the American Theater Hall of Fame and a Most Excellent Order of the British Empire.
